#16DaysofActivism - The Facts
Yesterday (25th November) marks the beginning of 16 Days of Activism, an international campaign to highlight gender-based violence. I promised I would do my part with 16 days of content about…you guessed it! Domestic abuse! Nobody can say I’m inconsistent with my content.
Well, I went and missed the first day. Don’t worry, I’ll get caught up. Over the next 16 days, we’ll be talking about warning signs, how to support someone if you suspect there’s abuse going on and what happens to the victim when they finally get out.
To ease us in on day one, I’ve made a few shareable infographics with some of the facts and statistics about domestic abuse. Feel free to share on social media; I’ve included a link to the source below each of them for you to throw in the face of any Men’s Right Activists.
Let’s get started.
